Welcome to the CaringBridge page for Angie Williams. This page has been set up to help keep family and friends updated in one place. While in Kansas at a family event, Angie suddenly got a severe headache and very ill. The quick action of Jim and her sister got Angie to a hospital for an MRI when they made the decision to Life Flight her to Kansas City, Missouri (about 90 minutes away).
After a long but successful surgery, she is resting and recovering with the same upbeat and sunny disposition she's always had.
Jim, Angie, and family are so thankful to the doctors in Kansas that sent her to Kansas City, the surgical team in Kansas City that saved Angie's life, and the doctors and nurses that continue to provide care. Angie has a long road ahead of her, and your thoughts and prayers are appreciated. You're welcome to leave notes of encouragement here; they'll be relayed to Jim and Angie.
