On October 8th of this year, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in both breasts.  I get a mammogram every year without fail.  On 11/17/21 I had a double mastectomy with the placement of expanders so that later they can do reconstruction.  I'm using this site so I can keep family and friends updated.  I also have a Facebook page but since not everyone is on Facebook, I'm going to put updates here.  I really do appreciate the love and prayers from everyone.  We don't need anything except love and prayers! We really appreciated the MealTrain.  It is full and we have all we need.  I so appreciate such a supportive group of friends and family!
