Hello family and friends.  My name is Kim and I'm Angie's granddaughter for those that don't know.     I decided to start this website to keep everyone up to date on my grams progress.  My goal is to share as much information with all of you on what is happening every day.  I will be writing  a journal entries everyday and when new  information comes along.   When we post new entries you will be notified by text or email. Please let me know if you need help setting that up.  This way you will know right away what is happening.  You can comment questions or well wish on this webpage.   We will also read the well wishes to Angie as they come in.

About my Grandma:  On Friday December 22nd early morning she started having seizures. She was very unresponsive and it seem like she was in a lot of pain.    She was rushed to  Rochester General Hospital where she had another seizure.  They were able to stabilized her but with a breathing tube and putting her into an induced coma.  It was so heartbreaking to watch, but I knew she was in good hands..  Props to RGH, they were amazing.  I would say there was atlast 10 people with her in the ER.  Before I go to far I have to say Thank you to the EMT's who took care of Angie on the way.  While we were in the ER the ladies stayed with me and prayed with me and hugged me.  They were so great trying to keep me claim.  I'm so great full for the amazing and large I must say team that is working with my Grandmother now to get her well.  Doctors told us there was no sign of stroke or any bleeding on the brain.  The MRI and EEG showed nothing.  We still really do not know why this is all happening.

The beginning of this week my grandma looked so much better and she was talking and laughing even flirting with the young male nurse. :)  She would say " he's cute" hehe she would ask him all these questions. I was so embarrassed.  She said that when she gets home she would make him tea and an english muffin.   Just love her... After my parents and my Uncle Bob left for the day she insisted she had to call all of her boys.  So we did and it was really nice, she talked with them each for about 5 mins or so.. She did great and it was so refreshing.

Then yesterday came,  she was not herself and was very tired and not responding to me as much..  We did talk for just little  but she said she wanted to sleep.  It broke my heart.

We need prayers for this special lady.  She means so much to me and my family as well as so many others.  Thank you to all that  came to visit her and thank you for all the prayers.

Talk to you all soon.....

Kimmy
