It’s been a long few months, so I’ll start at the beginning. Back in January, early February, I started having sinus infection-like symptoms. I treated myself with over-the-counter drugs. They didn’t work, called my doctor was put on antibiotics and a steroid pack didn’t do anything. After a second round of antibiotics and steroids, my doctor FINALLY, sent me to an ENT. At this point the right side of my nose was completely blocked off. That was April 12. I was sent for a CT, which showed a large mass in my nasal cavity.
April 28th I had surgery, that was supposed to be a biopsy but turned into a complete removal of the tumor. Pathology took FOREVER!! So, in the mean time I thought, I need something else to worry about, so I injured my knee. On May 5th I hyperextended my right knee 🙄. I know, right!?!?
On May 9th at my post-op appointment, they diagnosed me with adenocarcinoma in the nasal cavity.
Would love your prayers, happy thoughts and positive juju!! Thank you for checking in on me and the other Phelpies ❤️
