Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On August 9th during a routine annual mammogram I was told that I needed to go to have an ultrasound of my right breast. I then went the following week and was told it was more than likely cancer. over the following 3 months I went through biopsies and every scan you can imagine and was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. It is HER-2 which is the more aggressive type and it is also in my lymph nodes in my right arm. All other scans including PET and bones are all clean so no further spread has occurred! This is great news and I am thankful!

I will undergo 6 rounds of chemo over the next 3 months then have a mastectomy of my left breast and lymph nodes followed by possibly more chemo and then radiation.

Through all of this I have been blessed with so much support and love I can't even begin to tell you how much it has all meant to me. I have also learned to appreciate everything around me and have a different outlook on things.

Some days it all feels surreal and also overwhelming but I know that I am gonna best this and be stronger and better because of it.

I also have the greatest blessing coming with my grandson due in just 6 more weeks. this has given me something to focus on and stay positive knowing that I have so much love to give him.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for caring and loving me. I love you all!!
