Andy was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Tumor in the Brain on 4/3017. We had come out of church and headed to Menards to get some items to finish our deck and he had a seizure in the car. Fortunately, I recognized that something wasn't right and was able to get him in the passenger car and took off to Bethesda North Hospital. He was diagnosed that day and on Tuesday, May 2nd had surgery. They were able to remove the majority of the large mass but they were not able to reach the small one. These are very aggressive and can re-occur. God was with us that day. He came through surgery with very little side effects. We are so thankful. He currently is undergoing 30 days of radiation and chemo therapy. Then he will have 30 days off and starts a 1st week of the month oral chemo for as long as the medication will help. That's all that Western medicine can provide. Pretty disappointing to say the least. But we will NOT let that stop off.  


As you can imagine Sarah I am researching all we can to see what's out there. We have seen a few things we are hoping to get consultations for. Please keep him in your prayers! We feel the love of so many people and family it has been amazing! We'll keep you updated along the way.
