Hello Dear Friends and Family (please share this website with others - cannot have too many prayers and good wishes):

My wonderful sister, Cynthia "Andy" Landis, has a significant health challenge.  Some of you already know that she has a Thoracic Ascending Aortic Aneurysm which needs life-saving surgical intervention.   Repairing the aneurysm located on top of her heart requires a risky surgery which VERY few surgeons in the world have performed.  So she was referred to Cleveland Clinic and was fortunate enough to become a patient of Dr. Eric Roselli.   Dr. Roselli is a Pro, has done this surgery many times, and assures us that Andy will have a successful outcome.   From his confidence to God's ears, Amen.

On April 7, 2020, Andy will have her surgery in Cleveland, Ohio.  Without going into the overwhelming and scary details, this is a SIGNIFICANT and lengthy surgery.   We are asking you to hold her in your prayers, your heart, and your good thoughts on this day.

In the meantime, Andy is making preparations to be gone from Tennessee for a minimum of 3 weeks, maybe longer.   She and husband Lars leave home on March 31, 2020 to arrive in Cleveland on April 1.  On April 2 and 3rd, she will have her pre-operative tests including a heart catheterization (Yikes!).  Susan Smith and I will be posting here to keep you all in the loop.

Even though Andy will be in ICU and pretty out of it for a couple weeks, be assured that all of your posts on this website will be read to her during her recovery.   I believe that your messages and support will be helpful to all of us tending to her during this time.

As you might guess, this is a very expensive endeavor - think co-pays, deductibles, travel, hotels, meals, and other support services which we cannot even imagine yet.   So if you would like to provide a night at the hotel adjacent to the hospital, a meal, a tank of gas, a hotel movie, or - a martini (the girl needs a drink!) --- and so do the rest of us.  Oops, lets keep it about her, Diana.  Anyway, we have set up a GoFundMe page.  You can find the link under the "ways to help" section of this website.  Or by clicking here:  Andy's GoFundMe Website (https://www.gofundme.com/cynthia-quotandyquot-landis)  Or you can use Andy's PayPal:  Andy Landis PayPal (http://paypal.me/andylandis225&r=&bc=)

Thank you for keeping my precious little sister in your prayers and good thoughts.   She has been a help, a blessing, and a trusted friend to me and, I am sure, to many, many of you.  Here is to successful surgical results, complete recovery, and a fully restored C. Kay "Andy" Landis.

If you would like to send physical cards or notes, please use this address:  225 Little Turtle Way, Murfreesboro, TN 37127,

Bless each and every one of you for loving my sister.

Sincerely, Diana Landis (alias Big Sis)
