Here's her story: In early August, Andrea's abdomen began filling up with fluid, a condition called ascites. After ruling out parasites and other bacteria as the culprit, tests were done that indicated the ascites was caused by cysts on her ovaries. Then, last Friday, August 31st, tests of the fluid revealed the cysts as malignant. On September 2nd, Andrea was admitted to El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA due to pain from fluid retention in her abdomen.
