Andrea VonMarkle

Andrea is a beautiful strong 21 year old that started to have seizures on January 1 of this year with no prior history of seizures of any kind. On January 3rd she started to have them every 25 minutes or so and the Dr.'s had a difficult time getting them to stop so she was placed  into a chemically induced coma to keep her safe by reducing brain activity.  She  was transferred from Marquette General to University of Wisconsin in Madison on January 5th.  She will likely be here in their trauma unit until they can figure out how to wake her up and control any seizures she may have. They have been weaning her off sedation very slowly many times but Andrea continues to have seizures at one point or another during these trials and they must increase sedation again.   There are so many wanting to send a card, say a prayer, send a message to Andrea, her family, or her boyfriend Avery who has literally been by her side since this all started.  We know many have asked to get updates and this is a great forum so we can all be in touch.
