As some of you may already know, a few years ago Andrea was diagnosed with her second cancer, breast cancer. Her battle with the disease was progressing for the lack of a better term normally until December of last year. At that time she complained of severe headaches, nausea and dizziness. Erring on the side of caution, we took her to the ER where it was discovered that she had a brain tumor pushing on the brain stem. She underwent emergency surgery to remove the tumor. A following CT revealed that she had several spots on her brain so a regiment of radiation was prescribed. After several treatments, the tumors appeared to have stopped progressing. Another CT on January 17th, however, revealed that the cancer had spread to her lungs, spine, liver, and heart. In early February, we were told that there is not much time left.
