In late July, after teaching a ceramics workshop, Anderson started to notice some odd feelings in right arm and leg. He soon began suffering from insomnia, depression, anxiety, and severe headaches. At first the problems were thought to psychological, but luckily his GP ordered an MRI just in case. On August 28th Anderson was diagnosed with a brain tumor inside his left frontal lobe. He went into surgery on Labor Day and the neurosurgeon was able to successfully remove the tumor. Two days later the lab results came back and we learned that his tumor was a grade IV glioblastoma. This news very is scary, but Anderson is young, strong, and damnit, people like him!
