Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

I am truly fortunate. I went to the Key West ER with chest pain/pressure on October 11, 2016 and they said my heart looks great, but ... we found a "mass" in your lung. I was flown to Atlanta for a fine needle biopsy, mediastinoscopy, broncoscopy and several other tests. I have Stage 3, non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma w/EGFR mutation.

So why am I lucky, you might ask???? I am young, female and a non-smoker-lung cancer isn't used to a fighter! I am an EGFR mutant-lung cancer breakthroughs are happening, I am surrounded by family & friends-lung cancer hasn't met MY peeps, I AM A WARRIOR-lung cancer stats DO NOT account for me! I will create a private group if you are interested in following my experience. I promise to be positive & honest and I need you all to be positive, too. Together, we can beat this.

Thank you to everyone, from Bay Point to Atlanta to Europe, sending well wishes, jokes, inspirational quotes, artwork etc. I love you all.
