In February 2017 Amy made an appointment with her doctor after finding a lump in her breast. After an examination, ultrasound and needle biopsy, Amy was told there was nothing to worry about and made an appointment for a routine follow-up the next week. Unfortunately, there was nothing routine about her follow-up appointment and was told the biopsy revealed that she did, in fact, have breast cancer. Chris is currently stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO and Amy will be receiving treatment through the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center. Welcome to Amy's CaringBridge website.
