Welcome to Ames Caringbridge page, I am Sarah Wiger her daughter, come along with me as we go though the obstacles of dealing with Breast Cancer
 On Monday March 27th 2017 
Ame was going in for a normal annual Mammogram, they found a lump in the right breast and asked her to come the next day Tuesday March 28th to do perform a ultrasound. The Doctor ended wanting to do a  biopsy on the lump that they saw in the breast.  The waiting game wasn't easy and we kept our hopes high that the results were gonna come back clear..... Thursday March 30th  2017 we got the call saying it was Cancer. 
After the news Ame, sugeron, Nurse all met to schedule the surgery. Oringallly we told it was stage 1 but until the actual surgery we won't know if it had spread into the lymph nodes. 
After surgery she will be doing radiation for 6 weeks, 5 days within a week.
