Millie's life was saved by God on August 11th when a school bus rolled over her and her Dad. Her Dad was not seriously injured however Millie was. Without getting into a ton of the details Air Evac flew her to Mercy Hospital where their trauma team worked to repair her injuries. There was a lot of trauma to her body however she has been making so much progress and is healing well. We are now on the pediatric floor and working on getting a long term plan together for her recovery. She will need to go to rehab for her spinal cord injury and her broken pelvis. She currently has an external  fixator to hold her pelvis in place. Cody and I can't praise God enough for the progress Millie has made since the accident. She is our miracle and we are so thankful to still have our family of four. Over the past two weeks Millie has went from being heavily sedated and on a vent to not being hooked up to anything, taking wagon rides, sitting in a high chair, getting to ride in a stroller, and getting her neck brace off. I wouldn't have imagined she could make this much progress so quickly. God is good. We also got news that she will be able to do her rehab at Shriners in Chicago. I will try to do an update at least once a week.

Cody and I have been overwhelmed with how much support we have and we cannot thank everyone enough for all they have done and the continued prayers. We believe in the power of prayer and we know God answers prayer.

Judah is doing well and is here with us. He is gaining some pounds and chunking up on us. He is such a blessing.
