Amelia Moreno

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

While being treated for Sclerosing Mesenteritis, an autoimmune disease Amelia has been fighting for several years, the doctors ran some tests. During the tests they found some abnormalities and she went in for a biopsy. On April 11th Amelia was Diagnosed with mesothelioma, cancer, unfortunately we do not have much information to share at this time. Amelia will be meeting with a surgeon to see if surgery is an option, if so it would be followed with chemo treatments. At this we are asking only for you all to keep Amelia and family in your thoughts and prayers. We are asking for privacy as she processes all of this.
