Amedy Dewey is a survivor of a tragic incident that occurred Saturday night, January 6. She received a gunshot wound to the face which also grazed her shoulder. To our relief she has sustained no brain damage and is doing remarkably well thanks to the surgical and medical teams at the hospital. Amedy is strong and a fighter, and although she has a long road ahead of her with more surgeries to come, her outlook is good and she has the full support of her family and friends around her. We will be sharing updates regarding her condition, care, and progress on this page.
