Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Amber was taken to the hospital on October 26 with increase seizures and being very congested . When we got to Baltimore Washington Medical Center they did a MRI and a chest x-ray where they noticed that she had a mass growing in her brain and that her lungs were starting to collapse they did two bronchoscopy to clear the lungs she got a little better bit then the next day her left ling started to collapse. She has since then gotten a PEG tube for feeding because of being intubated so many times her throat is messed up and she is getting medicine to help repair the vocal cord. Amber then had a brain biopsy a week and a jalf ago and we just got the results Friday night she has a inoperative stage 2 astrocytoma neurosurgeon is saying remove will leave her paralyzed on the left side. We are having her transferred to University of Maryland hoping to be there by tomorrow they said she is next on the list.
