On Saturday morning, DeRail came home from work and found Amanda was not able to be woken up. She was breathing but unconscious. Paramedics were called and worked on Amanda, and en route to the hospital she coded and CPR was performed. She was revived right away and taken to North Memorial where she is in the cardiac ICU. She is currently intubated and sedated so her body can heal. There is no known cause as to why this happened, and doctors are running tests on everything. We are hopeful that Amanda’s body will continue to heal and pray that the doctors will find a cause in the coming days so she can go home to her husband and 3 amazing kids.
