Amanda is a daughter, a wife, a mom of 4, a sister to 6, and a very loved friend to many. She’s a nurse practitioner who has worked very hard to get to where she is in life. Everything was finally falling into place for her...

On July 13, 2020 shortly after 8pm, Amanda had finished her shift at the hospital in Watford City where she works as a Nurse Practitioner and went to get food for her coworkers before she planned to start charting her day. During this supper run, the unimaginable happened, she was involved in a life threatening motor vehicle accident. As she got a green light and was making her way through an intersection, a deputy traveling at a fast rate of speed crashed into her car as he ran a red light. This caused her car to roll before coming to a stop in the ditch. She had to be extracted from her car before being taken to the hospital in Watford City where they discovered a brain bleed, she suffered a seizure, and became unresponsive. She was life flighted to Trinity Hospital in Minot to get neurological care. They were able to stop the bleeding and put her into a medically induced coma to allow for healing.
