It all started with a sharp pain in my chest and a cough. My doctor gave me an antibiotic and said " I think you might have a spot of pneumonia so lets get a chest x-ray to be sure."  When he called the following week I never expected him to say my lungs were clear but there was a large mass that appeared on the result. By the time I scheduled my ct scan I was in more pain and decided to just go to the ER. They did my ct scan right there due to the fact that I was in pain and having a hard time breathing. They found the mass to be up against my lung, heart and two arteries and measured 11x10x6.5 cm and recommended I go to see a thoracic surgeon. Ryan and I decided that we needed to go to UofM. Dr. Reddy and his staff were quick to get me in and ran multiple tests to determine what this was. I had multiple blood draws, a PET scan, and finally a biopsy because the other tests were coming back inconclusive. When I finally heard from Dr. Reddy about the results of my biopsy he informed me that it came back as a form of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma called large B-cell Lymphoma and referred me to see an oncologist.  This is where I am        currently with information feel free to check in once in a while on here for more updates.
