Aly was taken to Methodist ER with tingling, numbness, and inability to open hands/walk on Monday evening.
The way she described it was burning and extreme pain like her muscles were tearing.

She was ambulanced to Texas Children’s in the Medical Center at about 2:00 AM on Tuesday morning because her electrolyte levels were so low.

She is currently at Texas Children’s and waiting for next steps. Her care team suspects a rare genetic kidney disorder that causes problems with electrolyte levels. Genetics testing will be done soon to confirm.

Please continue to pray for her levels to stabilize, her doctors and care team, and for the right diagnosis and treatment.
