Welcome to my CaringBridge website.   I am using this to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Summer 2021 entered with a bang! We celebrated my son's 16th birthday and COVID-19 snuck and stole the show! Marquis was the first to get hit, then me, then somewhere in there David.  As we went down, Jonathan upped his vitamin C and quarintined and remained negative.  Well, during Marquis' 5 day hospital stay for Pnuemonia, I had my 1st ER trip was for shortness of breath and went home with a nebulizer.   Seven days later, I  went back to the ER because I had been "shaking" for 2.5 days. I thought its was the "jitters" from the nebulizer. It was not. After ruling out the major stuff, I went home with a neurology referral. By the end of week, the tremors had increased and negatively impacted my mobiliy and speech and the neurologist sent  me to the ER so  I could be admitted for observation.  My home away from home has been Community North Hospital since July 2. Currently they are looking for a rehabilitation center that my insurance will approve so I can regain my mobility.  The tremors are thought to be a weird lingering effect of COVID.    Make sure you sign up for updates. I plan to post a daily  update here  so I am not having the same conversation a bunch of times,  This one section took all day to create and I've had to ignore all kinds of calls to get it finished. LOL
