Welcome to Alton's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated . We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Soon after Alton's 89th birthday on July 29, he developed excruciating hip pain and was hospitalized.  It was determined that the ball joint of his hip simply broke off (no fall involved), leaving his femur bone disconnected. To relieve the constant pain, Alton underwent palliative hip replacement surgery at Wilcox Hospital on Thur. Aug. 3. The surgery was successful in relieving much of the hip pain and he is now building up his strength so he can return home. He is in the Wilcox Hospital building but in the Garden Isle Rehabilitation section.

The family needs and is requesting some temporary help at this time to visit or call Alton. To schedule, please call or text Janey at 808-482-0056.

Please forward this site and let me know if you would like to be removed from this list.

In gratitude,
