My sister Allison was diagnosed yesterday, February 23, 2018, with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She has had a host of odd symptoms, including recent weight loss and growing severe fatigue, but this diagnosis has come as a shock to all of us.  AML is very serious and deadly in a short amount of time if not treated.  She was told to go directly to the hospital and she is now at Methodist undergoing lots of testing and prepping for intense chemotherapy.  


She will be in the hospital for at least 4 weeks.  We will try to update this site whenever we can.  Allison is tough and we know she will get through this to remission and recovery, but it will be a long, difficult journey.  Her daughter Aby is by her side and such a huge help.  Aby's pharmacy training is coming in really handy right now too! We appreciate your prayers and support. My younger sis can use all the good mojo she can get!
