Friends –
Thank you for the outpouring of prayers and grace for Allison during this time. Allison, Jamee and I have been on a long winding road since Saturday, June 9. There is so much detail that I will not be able to provide in this short note. Allison has been in an oxygen deprivation coma due to CPR since June 9. After much prayer and conversations with medical experts, Jamee and I decided to remove life support for Allison last night. She continues to live, but is in palliative care which offers no nourishment, lifesaving medications or procedures. The goal is to keep her medically comfortable until she passes from this home to her eternal home. If you did not know my daughter, she is an incredible woman of God. Jamee and I are deeply heartbroken, but somehow God granted us the honor to be her parents for 20 years. Just as we are praying for peace for our daughter, we are praying for peace for you too.
