I was so close to saying goodbye to the Oncology Department at UNM.....until December 2021. After biopsies, scans and tests a "rare" spindle cell carcinoma was identified on my lung. Time for surgery Wednesday January 19, 2022. Here we go at "letting go" and taking it one day at a time.
