Welcome to my CaringBridge website. I am using it to keep everybody in the loop. I appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, positive vibes, and everything else you all help me with. I couldn’t fight this battle alone.
To provide a somewhat brief overview of my current health issues, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy in November of 2012, when I was a freshman in college, just starting at St. Xavier University for nursing. I began having grand mal (tonic clonic) seizures multiple times a week. They have played around with my medications a lot and I saw a neurosurgeon to have a Vagal Nerve Stimulator (VNS) placed (December of 2015). Since then, I still have issues with seizures but not as many. I also have Dysautonomia, thrombophilia, bilateral intermediate uveitis, Hashimotos, Raynauds, erythromelalgia, PCOS, and some unknown autoimmune condition. I’ll be doing my best to keep everyone updated on here!
