On Wednesday, December 16, Allan and Nancy both tested positive for COVID-19 and were under the care of their physician. On Friday morning, December 18 at 3:00am, Allan was admitted to Baptist Hospital East after suffering a massive heart attack. His kidneys began shutting down and life saving measures began immediately. He is currently in the Critical Care Unit on a ventilator and receiving kidney dialysis. He is being cared for by an amazing team of doctors and nurses - Infectious Disease, Nephrologists, Pulmonologists and Cardiologists. Allan is currently receiving antibiotics, heparin , and a 2nd round of Lasix. His electrolytes are good and they are beginning to slowly wean him from his dependence on oxygen as his levels are staying stable. HIs heart is VERY weak and this is where the most critical need for strength and prayers is needed. Please pray! Nancy is doing well, but please continue to pray for her to recover and stay strong through this whole experience.
