Welcome to Alix's CaringBridge site. I'm John, her husband of 21 incredible years, and we are starting this to help get information out and ask for your prayers and encouragements as our family joins together to fight (and God willing, defeat!) a so far unknown form of cancer. Alix was diagnosed at the end of June 2019, and her surgery to remove an ovarian tumor and have a hysterectomy was July 19 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. We need to wait a few weeks for full pathology reports to come back to no for sure exactly what type of cancer this is. Once we do find out, a treatment plan will be fomulated.
