Alita Torke

Welcome to Alita's Caringbridge website.  We have created this site to keep family and friends updated. 

In October of 2017 we received heartbreaking news.   Alita was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her liver and lymph nodes.  

After consultations with oncologists, surgeons, a tumor board team and other healthcare providers, it was determined that Alita would not benefit from surgery, chemo or radiation.   Alita started receiving  hospice care on Monday, November 6th.  The goal is to provide her comfort and the best quality of life for the time she has with us.

Her smile warms your heart.  Her baby blues sparkle.  Her laugh is contagious.

Her presence takes your breath away.

Please keep Alita in your thoughts and prayers as she moves through her journey.
