Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  About three weeks go now I finished showering and decided to put on some lotion, well I found a lump. Those of you that know me well, know that I made my sister feel it and then promptly called the doctor thinking this would be looked at next week and I was in the office later that day.  The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of doctor visits and test.  I have a diagnosis of invasive ductal carcinoma, stage 2  but unfortunately it  is aggressive. I have had a ton of support thanks to my family and some awesome friends. I have just started this long journey but I am going to beat it!  I know many of you will have questions through this process and I thought this site might be the best way to keep everyone informed. Again thanks for all the support as I kick cancer's ass!
