Many of you know, our dear,  Alisa,  was diagnosed with colon cancer in mid May. Surgery removed the tumor and 8 inches of perforated colon, surrounding  LN (lymph nodes) proved clean. 

Alisa started chemo therapy last week and will have treatments every other week for 3 months. This can cause extreme nausea for up to a week after treatment, just in time to do it again.  (Anti-nausea drugs are helping)  

Recently, a small spot was seen on Alisa's liver ...this could be benign...some distant LN's were thought to be involved and turned out clean...A liver biopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to confirm. 

Alisa is feeling stronger and is back to walking,  2 miles a day!   She even went to work today! Not for too long, I hope.
