After a year and a half of physical deterioration, multiple doctor visits and tests, I ended up at Duke University Medical Center. On December 5, 2017 I was told that I have ALS - Lou Gehrig's Disease. This site was created to help me journal the days and challenges ahead and give me an outlet for this emotional roller coaster. I invite you to come along for the ride and I welcome your support.
