My story begins about a month ago, when I went to see my primary doctor due to severe pains in my lower abdomen, especially after eating.  She ordered a CT, which showed a lesion on my liver.  She referred me to a GI doctor.  After an MRI of the liver, and a colonoscopy, I was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer to the liver.  I also have a large tumor in my colon. I am in the hospital now for a procedure, and I will have chemo, liver resection, chemo, then the

tumor will be removed.  Then I will be cancer free!!

My motto is, I am healthy. I am whole. Disease will not inherit my body (M Fillmore). I am grateful for my life today!”

I’m learning to live life one day at a time!
