Alice experienced a brain aneurysm earlier this week.  The doctors spent hours repairing the aneurysm and removing the excess blood.  They say the surgery was successful and that she is in the top 15% of expected recovery.    However, they caution that this is only the first step in the process and that each step is important.

She will remain in ICU for several days.  Her temperature was up this morning, but Ron says it's down and she is a little better.  She is agitated as one would expect for a person who is constantly active and who has gone through such trauma.

The doctors feel that for the next several days, it is best if only family and close friends visit.  I set up this site for her, and I will post information about her condition as Ron or the family give me reports.  Through this site, you will be able to check on her condition and leave a message of support and encouragement.  Prayers are the most important.

Ron said Alice had a restless night. He was encouraged that she recognized him last night.  He sends love and thanks for your prayers and support.
