I have had many friends and family who have gone through health challenges but never realizing I would be the one sharing my story in a context such as this. When Chris and I married in 1984, we agreed to be together for better or worse, in sickness and in health. At times it seems like I've brought the sickness and worse part to the marriage. Through heart issues, diabetes, and now cancer Chris and our family have been awesome.
I recently have been following a calling from God to go into full time ministry with Man in the Mirror as an Area Director in WI. While not full time yet, I am working at building ministry partners. My hope continues to be in the God of my salvation through whom I've been saved. Nothing about this condition has surprised God as He knows the beginning from the end. I trust in Him through it all. My hope is that you would trust in Him too.
