Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Alex was in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday night August 23rd out on Hwy 71 between Long Prairie and Sauk Centre. Because of the extent of his injuries, he was airlifted from the Sauk Centre hospital to St. Cloud Hospital. Yes, he was wearing a helmet, which completely saved his life. Without it you would not be reading this page, but even so he ended up with multiple skull fractures and brain bleed. He also has sustained some deep abrasions that will need plastic surgery and major "Road Rash". He has a front temporal lobe injury, which is causing him major confusion and the inability to know where he is or what has happened. The swelling of his brain does not help either. His family has been by his side thru out this, and we keep telling him how much we love him.
