Alexis Stambaugh

Hello friends and family of Alexis Stambaugh!  Welcome to our CaringBridge website.  My name is Dana, and I am helping to manage this page for Alexis.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.   We all know Alexis as a caring veterinarian, a supportive coworker, a loving mother, a supportive and loyal friend, or a determined and kind daughter/sister/relative.   For me personally, she has been both a mentor and a very dear friend.  I created this page because Alexis is going through a difficult time.  At the end of 2018 she became a single parent to her two sweet, beautiful children.  Then at the beginning of 2019, she discovered that she had breast cancer.  Her cancer will require chemotherapy and surgery.  I know no one stronger than Alexis.  In my heart of hearts I have no doubt that, like so many other challenges that she has both been handed and taken on willingly,  she will make it through and be stronger on the other side, but she needs our help and support while she gets there.  I hope that this page can make coordinating help for her easier.  I have also started a GoFundMe page to help raise some money for her to go toward childcare, housekeeping, takeout, anything that will make her life easier while she navigates the coming year.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
