We found out on Saturday, February 17, 2007 thanks to the Primary Care Doctors at Dewitt US Army Community Hospital; who did a little investigating on our angels low blood count. He was transferred to Walter Reed Army Medical Center Saturday night, and was admitted to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Alec had a Hemoglobin level of 3 and a Hemocritt of 8. Blood transfusion and platelet transfusions were given Saturday night through Sunday morning. More to follow when we get updates.
