For the past year Al has been experiencing the dreaded aches and pains that come with maturity. His left hip was especially irritable!

He saw his doctor, got some x-rays, and had a date for a brand new titanium hip! During this time his doctor noticed an abnormal area in Al's right lower lung on the x-ray. After more testing Al was told on January 11th he has lung cancer. This is no small diagnosis. With Carolyn, Kelley, Eric, Alyssa, and baby Reid by his side, Al now begins his critical climb towards remission and recovery. His top two resolutions for 2017 are cancer free and that new hip! 


Al and Carolyn ask that you remember them and their kids in your daily prayers. They are confident your positive and sacred petitions will bring Al strength, comfort, peace, and sustained healing while navigating his treatments at Siteman Cancer Center.
