We are very sad to announce that Alasdair passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 9th 2017.
We would prefer you to leave any messages here rather than contacting Alasdair's family directly at this time. We will update this site with any further information and arrangements when we have them.
Alasdair's funeral will take place on Wednesday 26th of July 2017 at the Church of the Annunciation, 2 Spencer St, Chesterfield S40 4SD. The service will start at 12.00 noon, followed by a short burial service. There will be a gathering in the Annunciation hall at 1.15pm for refreshments. Everyone is welcome to come and pay their respects and support the family.
In terms of dress code, the family would encourage people to wear bright colours, but please feel free to wear black if you wish.
Please note that, at the family's request, we would kindly ask that people who are
considering bringing flowers make a donation to the mental health charity Mind (
