Alan is an amazing husband, father, brother, son and friend. He has the most genuine heart that is always ready and willing to help anyone in need. Whether it's giving a smile from across the room to let you know all is going to be okay, even if he's struggling too; or a few uplifting words to make someone feel special.
Alan and I started our journey together in 1997, and I thank God everyday for gifting me with such a gentle, loving soul. I am finding it therapeutic to journal our experiences as we travel this strange, winding road to recovery. And, as time passes, I know Alan will join me in sharing his thoughts as well.
