Dear Family and Friends, Just wanted to let you know that I am at home and I decided to enter home hospice.  Arlys is recovering well from open heart surgery that took place on June 17.  She had two bypasses and was very close to being too late for that surgery, but she is doing great and helping with my care.  Doug and Angie have been taking turns caring for both of us since before her surgery.  A couple of days after Arlys’ surgery I fell asleep reading a book in bed.  Sometime later (I don’t know how long) I woke up on the floor.  I was in quite a bit of pain.  I hit my head on the night stand and a waste basket.  I hit my back on the side board of the bed.  Angie and Doug were sleeping upstairs and the couldn’t hear me yelling for help.  I couldn’t move so I just laid there until I heard the toilet flush upstairs.  Angie then heard me calling.  I later learned that I had broken 2 ribs.  They put me on oxygen and have been ever since.  I have had issues with my lungs for the past couple years and thus that’s the reason I’m in the situation I’m in.  I am not afraid of what’ s to come and I trust Jesus who is my savior.
