Al was admitted to Fairview Ridges Hospital on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. He had symptoms of jaundice and what he thought was possibly a gall bladder issue. Boy was he wrong! What he had was a blocked bile duct which caused the jaundice. The blockage was located at the base of the duct into the pancreas. The cause of the blockage was the cancerous mass. The good news: because of the blocked bile duct, the cancer was discovered before it spread. (At this time). We are both beginning what I have come to call a 'MED-UCATION'. So here we go
