My brother was the oldest of 5 Bergstedt boys. He was born in the middle of the depression to Ed and Gladys Bergstedt in 1936. He lived a life of service to family, friends, business associates and fellow Christians as well.
He was, characteristically, a wise financial planner throughout his life and was classified by many as a spreadsheet guru even before there was an Excel or Lotus program.
He also “Answered God’s Call” through many dangers, toils and strife. He also was committed to his wife and family and it was so excellently displayed at his memorial service this last October 22, 2017. It was here that I personally was challenged to make a difference in my own way as I finish my race and cross the finish line when God calls me home.
