Ainsley Willis

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Ainsley was delivered after induction on April 27th 2017 at 37 weeks. According to ultrasounds she was supposed to be 8lbs but she was 10lbs 7oz at birth. After her head was delivered her shoulders became stuck. Doctors were able to deliver her after several minutes but she suffered a broken clavicle, bleeding on her brain, and oxygen deprivation while she was stuck. The night of her birth she was airlifted to St. Louis Children's hospital where she has been treated since. She has battled breathing issues, low calcium, and mild seizures among other things. She has currently come out on top of all of her current problems but eating by mouth.
