Many years ago when Mom was told that she had a Fatty Liver little was known about what that meant exactly. To date it is still not clearly understood.   Being the warrior that she is, she managed that illness for over 20 years . Her life was full of love, grandchildren, golf, traveling and she rediscovered her deep faith and belief in God. 
Her illness  advanced from Fatty Liver Disease to Non Alcohol Cirrhosis, it was then when she was told that there was nothing that could be done to cure her and to get her affairs in order.  She held steady and strong , found a Doctor that understood her illness and carried on her life as before . 
That was over 8 years ago.
Early in 2018 a tumor was found in her liver and she was diagnosed with Liver Cancer . 
She has again put on her warrior shield and continues to receive immune therapy treatment to keep the cancer under control.  This comes with side effects that have left her experiencing good and bad days. 
The liver disease has been continuing to advance and is causing its own set of issues and discomfort .  
As a family we are committed to doing what we need to do for her and Ray . 
Mom has some goals that she wants to meet, and she is committed to making them .  
She has been so touched by the out pouring of calls, cards, food, visits and prayers.
