Welcome to our CaringBridge website. It's a really great tool to keep family and friends updated in one place.  

For those of you who might not know Adrian was diagnosed with bladder cancer in November and has undergone surgery and chemotherapy.  He was doing really well until around the middle of March when he developed a lot of additional symptoms and investigations revealed that the cancer is now in his brain and barring a miracle is untreatable.  He's being looked after in a wonderful hospice (St Oswalds, Newcastle) for the past few weeks to stabilise his condition and get medication right and we are now praying that he will be able to come home in the next couple of days (end of April).

 We really appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement but will use this site to keep you updated rather than replying to the many wonderfully supportive messages that our family are all receiving.  Please feel free to post well wishes or any photos you have of Adrian.  Visiting at the hospice is very limited so we are hoping more visits will be possible once he's at home.  Please let us know if you'd like to visit.
