Our Beautiful Daughter Adora Lopez is an outgoing, caring , energetic teenager . However on October 31st , Adora came down with a Fever. We thought it was just a typical fever and she caught a virus,  But the fever kept persistent and would hit temperatures  anywhere from 101• to 104• . For  weeks we took her back to the Dr because her fever would not subside. Adora had to get blood work done and they found that her results were not normal. After 3 weeks she was finally admitted into Holy Cross Hospital in Taos NM where she remained for 4 days. Holy Cross Hospital could not provide the proper treatment which was required for our daughter, so she was then Air Lifted by Helicopter to UNM Children’s Hospital in Albuquerque N.M where she then remained for 3 weeks. Over the period that Adora was in the Hospital she still had ongoing fevers, liver problems, full body rashes, enlarged spline, white blood cells were not normal. After 3 weeks of being at UNM Hospital, Adora’s fever and rash subsided, the other symptoms remained but were able to take her home. Since then we have had to make trips to Albuquerque to specialists. Dr’s don’t have a Diagnosis as of yet. There are still more tests that need to take place, and visits to more specialist visits at UNM Hospital  but they have been pushed back because she tested positive for Covid 19. During this time, Our Family went through some financial hardship because Adora’s Father and I were with her at UNM hospital for the time  of her stay. Adora’s Father and I were both out of work for over a month and with no income coming in we went through our Savings and are finding it complicated to catch up on our Bills.  Adora’s Father and I are back
at work but are still really behind on our bills and cannot catch up. It took a lot to get the courage to ask for help, but it is exactly what we need and any contribution would be greatly appreciated. Thank You from the bottom of our heart’s.
